The first unaided private institute of architecture in Maharashtra, in the heart of Pune.
Marathwada Mitramandal's College of Architecture (MMCOA) is the first unaided, well-established and most prestigious private institute of architecture in Maharashtra, established in 1985.
MMCOA is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and recognised by the Council of Architecture and the All India Council for Technical Education. Alongside core academics, the college looks after the overall personality development of its students, who are encouraged to take an active part in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. They have brought many laurels to the institute in events such as the National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA).
The college sits in the heart of the city, with a prime location, a thriving educational environment around it, and all amenities close at hand. Because of the institute's reputation, it consistently receives first preference for F.Y. B.Arch admissions from students across Maharashtra, OMS, NRI and foreign candidates.
Senior, experienced visiting faculty for specialised subjects come from Pune and Mumbai. The location is well suited to extension activities such as site visits and seminars, organised by the institute and by professional bodies. The college has a record of consistent university top rankers, and active ex-students, over 150 of them established all over the world.
